A YOUNG Mooloolaba man has been airlifted to hospital after his arm became caught in a conveyor belt at a Sunshine Coast sand and gravel plant. The AGL Action Rescue Helicopter rushed to the industrial accident at a Conondale sand and gravel plant today.. The young man suffered serious injuries to his right arm and was airlifted to Royal Brisbane Hospital for treatment in a stable condition. Meanwhile, in Gympie a 60 year old man was airlifted by the AGL helicopter after being knocked from his pushbike by a truck and run over. The man has suffered multi trauma injuries, including serious head injuries and is currently in a serious condition at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. | |||
