| January 27, 2012 @ 7:25 am If you've never been to B&H in NYC, this is what the conveyor belt is all about: You make a purchase at a section in the store, your items get put into a bin, and the bin automatically gets transferred to the checkout desk while you continue to shop. Then the checkout personnel gather all of your belongings and put them into bags so that you can pay as quickly as possible and get your stuff and go. It's one of the most efficient in-store systems I've ever seen implemented and it works well. | |||
