| January 10, 2012 A little while back we introduced you to Brooklyn's electronic folk group, Conveyor. While it's only been a month or so, we had to share with you this amazing video Break Thru Radio did with the much buzzed about band. Following their Sun Ray EP, the four-piece has graced us with their new single, Mukraker. The band describes their new song as: "A droning experiment in melody. The song channels hyperventilating Soviet-era cosmonauts trapped in spiraling death capsules, undocumented heroes propelled towards the infinite birth canal of the universe. The only chord in the song is 'A.' The song elicits alpha-wave resonances which trigger neocortical hallucinations when played on repeat for extended lengths of time; sonic stargazing." Not only do we love the song, but are infatuated with this video as it reminds us of our our Neighborhood Sessions. Warm and intimate, the band (along with some friends) gathers in a kitchen to perform their newest tune. | |||
