13' Incline Conveyor | Worldwide Recycling Equipment Sales, LLC ...

Incline Conveyors are useful in various industries, including manufacturing plants, distribution centers, packaging lines and metal stamping. As their name implies, their primary purpose is to convey material from one area to another in a quick and easy manner. The use of a conveyor reduces manual labor, because the conveyor system does the moving work for you. There are two main classes of industrial belt conveyors: those used in general material handling and those used in bulk material handling. General material handling generally takes place in factories, transporting boxes and packages, while bulk material handling consists of transporting industrial and agriculture materials such as grain, coal and ores. However, because of their basic function, conveyors are very versatile pieces of equipment that can be used for almost any material moving job.

Conveyors are also commonly used in material recovery facilities (MRF) in addition to a sorting station or trommel screen. An MRF is a plant that receives, separates and prepares recyclable materials for end-user manufacturers. A clean MRF only accepts commingled materials that have already been separated from municipal waste, while a dirty MRF accepts a mix of recyclables and waste. Most commonly, an MRF will consist of a single stream of material to be sorted. The materials travel on a conveying system manned by workers known as pickers who are each assigned to pick a different type of material off the line, thus separating waste from recyclables and commingled recyclables into groups of plastic, aluminum, glass, paper, etc. The conveyor is used to transport the material being sorted at the facility from where it is received to the sorting station. If a trommel screen is used at the MRF to sort out the small materials, such as broken glass and other pieces too small to pick, a conveyor is used to transport the material to the trommel screen and from the trommel screen to the sorting station.

This 13′ Incline Conveyor is a belted conveyor on casters. It is 13′ long x 48″ wide with a 32″ adjustable height. The conveyor is powered by a 220 V, 3-phase motor.
